(no subject)

I can not even explain how fast time flies!! Last week really just feels like a dream!

Tuesday: We had Multi-Zones and we got to do a training :) also...I didn't take very many pictures....sorry :) but we learned a lot about how we need to have our faith increase, and how we need to work harder and smarter! We taught a training on contacting referrals and we handed out snacks :) It was so fun! I think the other missionaries liked it! I mean they got fruit snacks for crying out loud! After the meeting.....President and Sister Mullen came out with us.....they took us to appointments...well only one appointment....we tried to contact people too.....it was so scary! But I lived! We had a home visit with Sister DePhillipo and her non-member neighbor came over! It was so cool! Sister DePhillipo asked her neighbor last min too and she said she could come! It as so great! But nerve wrecking.....

Wednesday: So many appointments so little time! We met with Hycient, and he told us, "if the bible tells me to worship on the Sabbath I will get rid of the bible." Right as he said that I closed my scriptures...I was turned to Acts 20:7..... and then I was thinking about it and  really the foundation of our testimony should be on Jesus Christ....not on the Sabbath day! Ugh! And then we went to try a few people....after we tried a potential....we turned around and tried to talk to a person down the street. As we are trying to talk to this guy a ravaging dog came running at us!!! It goes around me and goes after Sister Pielstick!!!!! He grabbed her skirt (which she bought for 50 cents at a yard sale. She almost changed, but she didn't....good thing because the dang dog could have gotten her leg!!) ran around her let go and ran back to it's owner....I think angels were protecting me and then hit the dog when it got Sister Pielstick! I don't even know man!
We taught Fritz later that day! He is so great! We also taught the Barnett family :) and Terry....our investigator paused us.....and then told me he wanted to set me up with his son...thanks....but no thanks.....

Thursday: We had planning.....and we taught Hosea Smith (pause for laughter) Yes that is his name and if you don't get it I'm sorry. He is really cool! He wants to change his life around! We also taught a part member family! Their son Kyler isn't a member and he really wants to be baptized! We also had dinner with the Jones family! FISH! YUMMM!!! That night we exchanged with Sister Roberts :) We spilled water on her planner... oops :)

Friday: So much to do so little time! I feel like that is everyday as a missionary! we went walking in the morning and then we had a meeting with President Mullen and Sister Mullen, then we ran to an appointment that wasn't there. and tried a lot of people! We must find those that the Lord has prepared! and we had studies and then we had dinner :) Hawaiian Haystacks :) and then we went to see Sister Kuhn-Marryfield. She is 90 years old and can't go to church because she broke her back! She is so funny! Then we walked a little later and found a family that said we could come back!

Saturday: That morning we had a blitz :D  then we taught Dominic (may have spelt that wrong). He has a lot of questions! Then we tried a few people...then lunch...and studies...then trying more people.....then we went to our Stake Pioneer Day party! It was fun! Really focused on pioneers :)  Then trying more people...and seeking with faith :D

Sunday: So great! we went Seeking with faith before church....then church....then we had lunch and studies...then dinner with the Bess's :D Then we tried people and went on splits! I should have taken a picture! Hallie is 16 has purple hair and we went walking. After a few people she started talking to them! She is going to be a great missionary!

Monday: We had a bbq with our Zone :D It was so much fun!

Well I hope that you all have a great week!

Happy as a clan :D

I can't even believe how fast time goes! "Days feel like weeks, weeks fee like days, 18 months feels like a dream." -one of Sister Pielstick's hipster songs.

Monday: Was the most relaxing day! We got to sit! it was so great!

Tuesday: ZDM We had to train. and then we ate food, and got to walk and talk and then had dinner and yeah :) I went out with Sister Petitt and we met Terry! He is really cool! He doenst really  believe in God, and he said that we could come back! so that's cool!

Wednesday: We had exchanges and I went with Sister Keith to HEMET!!! It was so great! I miss it there :) Sister Kieth is from Canada and she is so adorable! We got to see Linda!!! It was so great! and Sister Wheeler high jacked our dinner because she found out I was going to be there :) It was so fun!

Thursday: Planning......is always great! We built a blanket fort! :D IT was amazing!! we had to take it down today though because President Mullen is coming out with us tomorrow night.... :(

Friday: We taught the Pettits the Law of Chastity. We taught them Crash and tell! and that our body is a temple :) And then latter in the week they were talking about it with their parents! So cool! and one little boy he wrote about it in his journal! I love it! we had a lesson with Terry again and we had a recent convert come with us :) She just got married and she has only been a member for a year and she loves the gospel! She is so beautiful!

Saturday: So many yard sales so little time. and we saw a lot of animals! and we saw Fritz :) I love that guy! he is so sweet! and as we were seeking with faith me met a "born again" Family. They were really nice, but they really werent willing to listen. So nice! and asked questions, but didnt want to change.

Sunday: Was good. We really are trying so hard to find new people. and then yeah :)

Monday: We went bowling!

Sorry not much went on this week. I love ya'll and hope you have the best week ever!

YOMO (You Only Missionary Once)

What a week! This week has been so crazy!! I will try to tell ya'll everything that happened.

Monday: 4th of July was so fun! after we emailed we made pie with Fritz!!! It was so good!!! We also played Nerf gun wars...so pretty much call of duty with Nerf guns haha it was so much fun!!! then we got to go home plan, and sleep:) it was a good end to the day!

Tuesday: We had our Studies and then we had housing inspections. and we at food....then we got the call to go get our car!!! :D It was a dream come true!!! It took forever to get our car, but it is so nice to have a car again! We got back late because of the lovely California traffic, but we have a car :D We went seeking with faith, and then we had the best dinner ever!!!! It was so good! The family is from Utah and they are so funny! And the Father of the family knows a lot about the gospel....really it boggles my mind how much I need to study!!! Then later that night we went on exchanges and Sister Garlitz came with me to my area!!!

Wednesday: We had so much fun! I love her!! We went Seeking with Faith in the morning and Sister Fabian came with us :D It was so great! Then we had DDM...we were only a few mins late..... #gottatalktoeveryone! then we came home had lunch and then Hermana Fabian's companion came to get her. We talked for a few mins :) It was fun! Then we studied, tried Trey....no answer.....then we got in with Johnny. He is 16 and is really open to learning. However....he is 16 and we have to have parent permission to teach him....and his parents are Jehovah Wittiness....we hope we hear back from him soon!  Then we got DeJongs Chocolate milk!!! THE BEST STUFF EVER!!!!!!!! It was so good :) and then we had a few potentials to try. We got in with Chris. He is really nice and committed to baptism! We met with him again next week :D Then we had dinner and it was so much fun! then we went to exchange back :) it was so great!!!

Thursday: We had a meeting all day in Riverside. We were talking about somethings that we can do better as missionaries. So I pulled up my skirt and commented. It was hard, but I did it. I stood up and said, "I need to be bold in contacting people. And when we talk to people we should be happy, and then be sad if they say no. Tell your face!" everyone laughed after I said, "Tell your face!" and then later President Mullen quoted me :D It was a great time! Then....right before we left we realized.....it was 9 months a go today that I picked her up from the Mission Office :D So tender I know :) that we walked around and talked to a few people. Then we had dinner with a sweet member! She is so great! Then we taught the Jones' It was the best lesson we have ever had! so good!

Friday: We planned...and ate food :) and taught the Petitt family :D they are so great!! We also taught Fritz with Sister Bess! and we had India food with the Hughes family!!! I love them so much!!! I felt bad because we had to leave quick because we had to go on exchanges :D and guess what :D Sister Parker came with me to Wildomar!!!

Saturday: Was really the busiest day ever! I am so glad that Heavenly Father loves His missionaries, because we could not have had a successful day without Him! So in the Morning we had a meeting with our ward mission leader. We had to leave early because we had to meet some members to go on splits! So I went seeking with faith with Danica while Sister Parker went with Sister Mannly and part-member families. It was so amazing! I met a lot of JW's and they were all really nice and didn't bash! It was great! Then we went home and I wanted to make pot stickers for lunch. I cooked them in the microwave so that they would cook faster, and then fry them in the pan to make them crispy....so I put the first one in the pan...and I'm not really sure how this happened.....but it caught on fire!!! and it was an oil fire so I pick up the pan and walk back and forth holding it saying, "what do I do! What do I do." and so then I jet set it down and it goes out. nothing caught on fire thank goodness, but our fire alarm works! It started beeping and saying, "fire....fire...fire..." We had to open the doors and air the place out haha :) and that is not even the end of our adventure!
After lunch and studies we went and tried a few people. After a few people I looked down and saw that the check engine light was on. So we call Elder Cook (he is in charge cars) and he said to watch it and we can check it out if it gets serious. Then we hurry to See Fritz...we try to go the fast way...but the cops had to turn us to another direction....I don't know why, but hey we went the long way. once we pulled into Fritz's drive way....our car was making a "Cheep Cheep Cheep" noise...oh no....we pop the hood and find oil all over the engine and other parts that I don't know what they are called....so we called elder cook again.....good thing this time Elder Hubbard (he is a serving a Senior couple mission with his wife in our are) was with us and he talked to Elder Cook. So we had to take our car to the shop again! But first we had to share a message with Fritz and then Elder and Sister Hubbard took us to dinner. Dinner then took us to Sister Garlitz who needed a companion, and she drove us to Hemet to switch companions back :) It was a crazy day!!!

Sunday: I had to talk in Church and Fritz got confirmed! it was such a sweet experience! We also had no car so we biked! It was great!

Sorry I ran out of time and I still have to email ya'll back! I love you and hope you had a great week!

More pictures :D

haha oh man I love these :) They are so great!!! Love ya'll :D

HAPPY 4th of July!!! :D The fireworks are really for Fritz :)

What is this another week has come and gone....I feel like I can't remember anything right now :/ but today is a weird day. We can't go out and work all day....yeah it will be nice....but weird......we have our p-day in the morning and then we can't go out at night because of all the crazy drunk people! ugh...so everyone else cleaned their apartment while we went to Riverside this morning to have breakfast with Sister Roberts :) one of my companions. I love her so much!!!! She is flying home today and I can't wait to see her and talk to her soon!!! <3

Tuesday: We had a very interesting day...We walking around in the morning because it gets way to hot later in the day and no one is outside to talk to in the afternoon because of the heat....so we went walking....and then we had ddm....and then we had a road trip to Riverside :) We got to drop off our car because Sister Pielstick decided to gently caress a pole :) so it had to get fixed. haha so we didn't have a car all week! I am so grateful that we have amazing members that are so willing to help us with the work! We have seen so many miracles!! awe :) So after Riverside we had our studies and then went to dinner :) then we tried a few people and we taught Fritz. <3 he is so prepared! we talked about the ten commandments. :) and about his baptism stuff :) because yeah that happened this week!! (I will talk about it later ;)

Wednesday: I am so grateful for Members that can help us out :) awe really it would have been impossible without them. Sister Mcknight dropped us off and we were laughing so hard at dumb jokes that she started to cry. It was so great! When she came to pick us up we told her something funny that happened while we were walking.... So Sister Pielstick and I when ever we go walking we always find washers on the side of the road. We found one today and we took a picture with it :) after I got my picture Sister Pielstick was posing for the picture. Right as she got into position the owner came out. HAHAAHAH it was so funny we started to walk away, but then Sister Pielstick started talking to him about how we had to take a picture with the washer. The guy laughed. We talked about how important it is to be there and help others in the community (don't remember how we got on that topic but yeah know) and he said, "yeah I left my washer out there for someone who needs it, or for someone to take a picture with." It was so funny!!! I almost died!!!!
We picked up a new investigator named Hycient. He is from Nigeria and has only lived in the US for 8 months! Crazy!!! Sometimes it is hard for me to understand him....I have to really focus, listen, and the Lord takes care of the rest. He is so cool! Then we met up with our new Senior couple missionaries! They are working with all of the Less actives in Lake Elsinore stake, but first they are working with us. They came over so that we could help them understand records, and how to keep them, and how to do all of those things :) It was so great! I love them so much! They are on their mission for 24 months! So they will stay here for a while, and they can come out with us too :D I am so excited!!!

Thursday: the best thing happened.....so last Sunday we passed around a sign up sheet so that the members in the ward could help us out because we don't have a car. two people signed up....(don't worry we had so many people help us last week it was so amazing....we just had to call them :) one person that signed up was Sister Gallegos. The lady was someone that we didn't know.....so we called her and we thought she moved in to the war. Come to find out She is visiting her cousin from Utah and she felt bad we didn't have a car!!! So she took an hour out of her vacation to come and help us. New goal in life: help the Missionaries when I am on vacation. We got in with our Investigator Marcus. He really wants to change, so we set some goals so that he can change. I can't wait to meet with him next week to see how he is doing. after that we had studies and lunch....then planning....then dinner at home because dinner canceled.....but its all good :) we had Sister Hughs come out with us! I love her! She just had a baby a few months ago and she is so funny! She came with us to teach Fritz :) He made us pizza, and then he made me sit in his chair...it was a massage chair...it was weird....but nice....but really weird....haha and then we tried a few people. We ended up talking for a long time and we were late to meet with the other Sister for exchanges :/ oops....

Friday: I spent the day with Sister Rodriguez in her new area!!!! It was so much fun!!! I loved being with her again, but it was weird not being in Anza :/ We did service in the morning...still painting baseballs....and I found paint in my hair this morning..... ooops :) then we tried a few people, got stuck in traffic...so our day got delayed...and we studied....tried people....then we had dinner with a sweet lady that is a recent convert! She is so great! and then we tried more people....and walked....and then oh one funny experience: I had to back Sister Rod because she didn't make the U-turn all the way. and there were people outside working on their yard! They were nice, but didn't want us to come back....one day their time will come :)

Saturday: We had a blitz (that is where all of the missionaries in the Stake came together and walked in one ward) and all together the elders had over 15 people they could come back! before we all started the blitz the elders said their goal was 9-12 new people. The power of setting goals, working hard to achieve them, and having faith is real! Take it to the Lord and Together you can make it happen. Then we went home...studied...then we went to a ward baptism and Fritz came. He loves baptisms. He was so excited for his own. after that we had dinner with the family and then we walked all night :) and kinda got stuck a little in the dark...but Sister Mcknight saved us and took us home :) it was good :) She is so funny!

Sunday: Was the day :D They day Fritz got baptized! He was so excited and awe :) He shared his testimony with us after he was baptized and he started to cry! It was so beautiful! The Relief Society room was full!!! it was so amazing!!! awe :) Then after the baptism we went to dinner with Fritz and Bishop's family. As we were walking up to the door I asked Fritz, "How do you feel?" and he said, "with my fingers."  haha it was so funny!! Then we ended up not eating dinner and going to a few people with Sister Osuna. She is so great! We met someone that speaks Spanish and she totally translated for us and invited the guy to watch the video! It was so cool! We had a really great week! I can't even handle how much the Lord loves us.....this week I have learned that Heavenly Father loves us all so much. He is so mindful of us and our trials in life, and He know exactly what we need. We were walking around late last night and we were taking a picture of Sister Pielstick next to a hippy sign :) and we met the owner of the house. Her boyfriend just passed away....they were engaged for a long time....it was really sad....but she said we could come back! We share the video with her about how we will see our family members again!

I love the gospel!! SO much!!! I have seen it bless so many peoples lives!!!

I love you all so much and I hope you have the best week ever!
