Week Two :D

Hey ya'll! This week has gone by so fast, but yet slow as well. I counted and we pray at least 20 times a day! If not more! It is so important to pray to our Heavenly Father! Oh and before I forget rumor is that I can only email family....so I will be sure to send all to my family and I will ask.....hmmm Andrea Jones to help my Father with emailing the rest! haha :) Love you!
Okay so Saturday was pretty awesome but....Sunday was amazing! We had sacrament with our Zone so like maybe 17 people....haha small and personal! After Sacrament we went to Music and the spoken word and had Relief Society! So powerful! We got a new MTC Presidency so the sisters spoke Sister Toth spoke with such love and hope! She said that we need to challenge ourselves! Love her! Sister Fuller ( my companion) sent her a thank you note and gave her one back! so cool! her handwriting is art! Kid you not!
So Monday was Monday. Then Tuesday...that was amazing! We had Elder M. Russell Ballard come talk to us!! So cool! A little back ground first. On of our Investigators, her name is Devan, is really strong in the bible. She is Lutheran and LOVES her bible! We showed her the Book of Mormon Monday she brought up the scripture of Galations 1:8 which says something like let there not be any other doctrine or you shall be punished! I can't remember how we answered but on Tuesday Elder Ballard brought up Galations 1:8! He explains that in that time of the bible is when Christ had returned to Heaven and the people we changing the doctrine so that scripture was meant for that time period when the people were only coming closer to Christ with their mouths and not their hearts! So much was out of Elder Ballard!! awe! The next quick thing I would like to share is that he compared missionaries to apostles! He is merely sharing the word of Gospel just like me! I have grown to love my name tag so much! I almost slept in it one night....and then the next night Sis. Wright and Sister Jacobsen almost did too haha :) It is so cook that I am representing Christ! Love it! The last thing I would like to share from Elder Ballard is that We ALL need to set goals! Every day! longer term goals are great, but if we set goals every day and stretch ourselves then we can truly track our progress! Then every night as you pray tell Heavenly Father everything that you did and tell him that you did your best to complete the goal!
Wednesday....I love Wednesday...:) So Wednesday I got 8 letters from home!!! Thank you all so much!! I love hearing from  you! The Elders check the mail twice a day and every day Elders Jones says, "It's time to go get Sister Moore's mail!" haha I love it! Sense I have been in the MTC I have gotten 13 letters! and that is more than the other missionaries in my District Combined! Keep sending them until I leave! Oh I leave on Tuesday Morning at 3:35 AM Crazy! So dont write me on Dear Elder on Monday! Because I will be in California!! :D Can't wait!
Thursday Was In Field Orientation. The big thing I got out of it was that the Ward works so much with the missionaries! Send missionaries in your ward contacts for them to visit! IT can bless so many lives!! amazing! oh and they had a play for us and guess who was in the live play....Elder Christensen from the Movies the District! He is so cool! He came to your class and talked for a second but he is so fun!
Today is Pday and I still feel like there is so much to tell you! Only an hour on the Computers is not long at all!
Above all the Most important thing is to be converted to Jesus Christ! Have your heart and soul love him! I never expected to have me as my first Convert! I knew that Jesus is my Savior, but through this last week I have truly learned how much my savior loves me! and I love him! Read the Book of Mormon and Pray to know of it's truth!
Funny things of the week Elder Vernon drank three glasses of OJ.....Now I know that I will not drink it while im here....haha My Companion is from Goshen Utah so 30 minutes away from here. She is allergic to gluten so I get to eat her rolls....I think I have gained wait but I can't really tell...oh and I am having a great time here! I do miss home but as I have my eye single to the glory of God I know that this is where I am suppose to be!
Love ya'll! Hope I can get pictures attached! if not look at the blog www.rcmsm.blogspot.com.

First Week!!! Love you guys!

Hey everybody!
I can't believe I have been in the MTC for only two days! Time flies here, but at the same time I feel that I have been here forever! The classes are fantastic and the spirit is so strong here! So the first day I arrived was pretty hard...getting dropped off was probably the hardest thing ever! However I kept listening to President Jones when he said, "Keep your eye single to the glory of God! and your family is okay" For the first few hours of the MTC I kept Thinking about my dad and little brother and how many tears would be shed, but then I would focus on the savior. After we got all of our books and stuff we dropped off my stuff in our dorm. It is literally like living on a collage campus! except I dont worry about other sisters in my room stealing stuff :)
My companion is Sister Fuller we connected right off the bat! We are defiantly companions for a reason! She is 33 and on her mission! How fantastic is that! She has always wanted to serve a mission in her mid thirties and I think it's wonderful! Oh wait today is her birthday! so she is 34 haha. The other sisters in out district are Sister Wright and....(get this....) Sister Jacobsen! haha she spells it different than Elder Bryce Jacobson but I thought it was hilarious! and guess where she is from....Texas haha I couldnt believe it! The Lord knows all things haha :) the Elders in are District are Elder Vernen, Elder Mason (Zone Leader), Elder Matau (District Leader), and Elder Jones! They are now my District Family and I love them all! None of the Elders have girlfriends so if you want to write them let me know ;) haha JK! They need to focus on the work! Sister Fuller and I are Sister Training Leaders for our Branch! We get to know all of the sisters and are here to help them with anything they need! Kind of crazy right sense I have only been here for two days! But the Lord knows what he is doing and I will trust in him!
After the first day of classes and food....oh wait about the food....I have been warned not to drink the OJ and I have kept to that haha. The food isnt amazing like everyone says. I mean it's good and it will fill you up! It's just no Rib-eye steak haha! Although the first night they did have steak...it wasn't good....oh well haha.
Yesterday, so Day two we had all day of classes! the spirit was so strong! Something I learned was about how to TAKE the Sacrament. (I forgot my notes so please know that if I mess up Im sorry!) Think of him Always remember him Keep the commandments Endure to the end! How wonderful is that! There are so many Elders and Sisters here! The hardest part about becoming a missionary is calling Elders Elders and Sisters Sisters....the word GUYS is to not be spoken here! so hard! Dumb I know but you go without saying guys for a day.... Tell me how it goes! in the first Devotional We were told the Elders are not Guys...you know who the guys are...they are home dating your girlfriends hahahahahaha! I almost died laughing! Man alive none of our Elders have girlfriends but it is still fantastic!
Oh and a plus that my mother never thought she would ever hear....My side of the Dorm is one of the cleanest! I am well organized just like I said I would be! I just pray I can get everything back in my suit case for the plane :/
Today is letter day :) So when Elder Matau brought the mail I missed him, but the other sisters said, "You got a lot!" I tried really hard not to gloat....but I was so happy when I finally got them I got three letters! That doesnt sound like a lot but hey it is here :) so big thanks to My mom (who used dearelder.com) Chelcee, and the Jones family! Bronson and Eric I have not eaten bacon yet :( hopefully they will have it soon!
I feel that there is so much more that I should say, but nothing is coming to mind....I hope that you can feel the spirit from this letter and from me being on my mission! Every missionary agrees that they miss their family, but it is all worth!
Keep praying and reading your scriptures!
Love ya'll

Farewell Sunday

Thank you friends and family for supporting Jackie and for your goodbye hugs at her farewell. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful meeting filled with the spirit. Jackie did a wonderful job on her talk and the light radiated through her smile and testimony. We know she is going to be an amazing missionary and an instrument in His hands as she brings others unto Christ and serves Him.

As you can see she had a full house. :)

Mission Can Money Saved

Jackie opened her mission can on Sunday December 21st. The family was excited to guess how much money was inside.

Drumroll please....

Receiving The Call!

There were so many thoughts and feelings that I had when I knew my call was here! I had no Idea where I was going, but I joked a lot about going to California. I guess it just seemed to fit! The video Posted was recorded by Bryce Jacobson who is now serving in Fort Worth Texas. I believe this video says it all!https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1460293544258870
