Wow What a Week!!!!

This week has been so crazy!!!!! I know that the Lord blesses us and is working with us! This ward is so amazing!!!

Monday: after dinner we had a member take us out to a less active member's house. Well the family welcomed us and we got a long really well! Then we went home. haha yeah

Tuesday: We had our DDM Meeting and then we fixed our tires....if we get any more flats I might just through my companions bike! See I have only had one flat....but my companions keep getting them.....we then went walking......and walking...and walking.....then we taught a new investigator Nestor. He is in high school and is interested in learning about more religions. then we went to dinner.

Wednesday: Every appointment fell through....we walked a lot....it was hard, but it is good :)

Thursday: we had the best day planned! But our appointments fell through.....we did have one with our investigator Noah. he is 8 years old and He wants to be baptized on Halloween! But his mom thinks it is too soon....lame....we will make it work next week!

Friday: We walked some more for 3 hours....then we taught Cody. He is so sweet! He has a learning disability, so we have to take it one step at a time. He is learning so much though! He loves God and really wants to follow Jesus Christ!

Saturday: we talked to a WW2 veteran he was 91 years old! He told us we could come back, and he would call us! Can't wait to teach him!!! We also picked up a new Investigator that is going through a bad divorce....the gospel will help him for sure!

Sunday: Church was great! Cody came and answered some of the questions in class! The teacher asked him who taught him that and he said, "the Sisters, The Sisters Taught me that!" it was so great! After Church we picked up a new investigator named Martha. She loves Jesus Christ and already has a church, but she is willing to read the Book of Mormon and ask God if it is true!  We had dinner with the Davis' they are older and just so sweet to us!

Monday: We went on a hike so that is why this is late...and short haha :)

Forgot a birthday shout out to my wonderful Sisters, Andrea and Heidi, and also my brothers: Kyler and Blake.

Hope you all had a great week! love ya!

Best week EVER!!!

Last week was one of the hardest weeks that I have ever had on my mission. We were short on time because of meetings, and We really didn't know anyone haha :) I guess that is why this week was the best week ever!

Tuesday: We went with a member to go contact her co-worker that was interested in the gospel. She was amazing! She committed to baptism and is reading the Book of Mormon! She kept asking her friend how she got so close with her husband and family. Then she told her about the Book of Mormon and how it brought them closer together through Jesus Christ! I can't wait to teach her even more! After that we had dinner and they sent us home with leftovers :) YUMM!!! But then we gave them to a homeless lady....thought she needed it more than us. We see her from time to time :) and her cute dog!

Wednesday: We had 3 lessons set up with potential investigators.....but all of them stood us up! On our way back to our bikes we heard a pop....and a gush of air came blowing out! Sister Pielstick's tire popped.....and it was because I put it in wrong...lame!!! But now I know how to do it :) So a member helped us get it in their truck and then we have been on foot ever sense! 9 months ago I left the MTC :D Wow how time has flown by! We did Tim Tam Slams :) it was great! We also taught Cody. He is a great kid! His uncle called us and told us that we need to start teaching him. So we did haha :)

Thursday:  We Planned...and taught Noah! He is 8 years old and wants to be Baptized! Neither of his parents are members, so he is a convert baptism! We asked him to be baptized on Halloween, but he was worried it would be too soon! We will work with him and I pray that he will feel ready by then! How cool would that be! to get baptized on Halloween! SO COOL!!! We had something interesting for dinner....it was good I just would have never imagined this combination! Rice, with a hamburger patty, then a fried egg (with the yoke still runny, I call it a pocket full of sunshine) and gravy over the top of it! It was actually really good :) haha then the member came out with us and no one was home....oh well :D keep on keepin' on!

Friday; We had Multi-Zone today! awe it felt so good! We sat and got scolded/trained on how to talk with everyone we see! These last two weeks we haven't had any baptisms in our whole mission.....this is bad...really bad....this week we got 7 which is good :) so we learned a lot! after the meeting we went to dinner :) After we ate we asked if we could share a message with their family. The mom asked what the message was about. We planned on faith. She then picked up her phone and called her non-member neighbor and had her come over for the lesson! The family gave her a Book of Mormon and we invited her to learn more, and she said that she wanted too! She is the best! She also came to church on Sunday and loved it! AWE :D

Saturday: Was a very interesting day...we talked with everyone! literally everyone!! It was so crazy! There was this one lady, she was sitting on the grass and she had all of her stuff sprawled out. She had some cute heels (we know how much I love those!) and so I said, " I really like those heel!" She then responds, "They aren't real!" really confused I said, "Oh I just said that I liked your shoes." She then goes off! "These things right here aren't real. Nothing is real. None of this even matters. Do you have a phone? Could you call my boyfriend? He didn't answer did he. I don't even care......." She kept going! It was crazy! We just walked away and yeah...haha the fun things that happen on a mission!

Sunday: What a beautiful day! We had Three investigators at church and awe :) I had to talk though....apparently I talk really soft....so many people didn't hear me...oops....oh well! We also got to do sharing time in Primary! It was so fun :D haha The Bishop's wife came out with us after dinner and she stayed with us for 4 hours! We felt so bad! We told her that she would drop us off for the last appointment, but she wanted to come :) What a sweet lady! I love her! She is just the best!

Monday: Today has been pretty relaxed! I so needed it haha :) Can't wait to see what adventures come our way next week!

Love you all and hope you had a great week! Can't wait to hear from everyone!

MT View!! San Jacinto! I love it!! :D

This week has been one of the hardest of my mission! Not only did I get a new companion fresh from the MTC, but I also am in a new area where Elders used to serve....and.....yeah enough said....We just have a lot of work to do! I pray and I know that this area is going to grow and flourish! AWE I love the people!!

Tuesday: I was with Sister Meza in my area all day! We walked a little bit then we went and picked up all of the paper work for my area! which wasn't a lot....I started to feel overwhelmed and not sure if I could rebuild this area and train a new missionary....But then something changed. The other Sister must have sensed this(or saw it on my face) because they all told me that I will do great and that I will change this area! It just felt nice :D Then we also ate Sushi for lunch :) it was amazing!

Wednesday: Was the day....she finally came :D Sister Pielstick (like you are peeling a stick) she is from St. Augustine Florida and loves the city. My first City girl companion! :D We drove home, and I followed Elders because they said they knew how to get home.....yeah......We got home dropped off her stuff then we went and road our bikes to our dinner appointment! and because it gets dark at 7...we had to go home...:( and Sister Pielstick got a flat.... but we will fix that today :D

Thursday: We went and walked in our area and found some new people to teach! We are so excited! We have so many people ready to hear our message!

Friday: We really walked all day....and we had lunch with all the missionaries for a big meeting! it was fun :D We ran into a guy smoking weed and he said, "oh no you dont want to talk to me!" But we did :) We didn't get a return appointment, but it was still a great experience! We also met a girl from Africa!! WHAT!! She was cool, she likes her religion, but we gave her a Book of Mormon and she said that she would read it :D

Saturday: Saturday no one was out....we organized our white bored...yeah...Saturday was rough....The Relief Society had us over for breakfast though! It was so fun! They told us a lot of information about members in the ward! SO HELPFUL! I love the people here!!!

Sunday: We went to church at 8 for a meeting. Then another meeting at 9 then Church at 11 to 2! We were walking into the building and....Sister Gass runs out, I gasp, and she gives me the biggest hug! I just lost it and started crying! ( she is in the first ward that I served in...oh how I missed her! She signed up to feed us next week...two days in a row...haha) and that's how it was all day!! I saw so many people that I knew and I hugged and cried! I really was just a mess....I saw our old home share Sister Peel too I really just started bawling! I can't believe I am back here! I am just so happy!

I am so happy to be here again! My heart can't express how much I love San Jacinto! AWE :D Seriously!! I love these people!! and I can't wait to start teaching and baptizing in this area!!

Oh and we also got to meet Olaf, Elsa, Anna, and Christoph (this is our Ward Mission Leader's Daughter's family :) they were going to Disneyland for Halloween and wanted to show us their costumes! So fun! The Grandma made parts of the costumes! So awesome!

I AM TRANSFERRED!!!

I am getting Transferred to Hemet again :D I am so excited! It will be a different ward, but really close to my first area! I will also be training again! A new missionary from the MTC! I don't know the area....so I will be learning right a long side her! It will be interesting and I am grateful for your prayers! I will miss Corona...so much! I won't tell you home much I have cried....but I know that it will be for the best! I look forward to coming back and visiting all of these people! They are a part of my heart and I will never let them out!

Tuesday: Last District Meeting in Corona. An elder was also going home so we sang "God be with you tell me meet again" He almost cried! any who we went and and saw a few less actives.....crazy story so one of our less actives is in the hospital....he might lose his foot! Crazy right! any who after we visited him we were able to go to another family. As we were walking outside we ran into a new potential investigator! Then we went to dinner with the Jacob's family :) I love them! Their son had a few none member friends there so we were able to challenge them to read the Book of Mormon! We went to a Part-Member family and we were able to teach the husband who is a non-member! He has a lot of questions and I can't wait to see them get baptized!

Wednesday: We were able to teach a new investigator on the street next to his house. It went well then we found out that Zoey (she is a young woman that isn't a member, but her dad is, and her mom doesn't want her to get baptized!) Crazy story...We will pray for her!

Thursday: We planned...and planned again....haha then we went out..and taught...then we had dinner with the Avalos family! then we walked to an appointment with the Spanish Elders. Last Monday we contacted and taught a Spanish woman. Monday:We were walking to Sister Young's house after dinner then we saw these two people sitting outside! It was probably the worst contact I have ever made! We walked passed and I said, "The weather is lovely isn't it!?" the guy said, "Yes it is very nice." I stopped and asked, "Do you come out and sit here often?" (See I told you it was bad) Then we asked if we could share a message about Christ, and he said yes! His mom went and turned on a light asked us if we wanted a Beer (hehe ;) then we sat down. The man asked if we could speak Spanish, but we can't...so we just shared with them how much God loves them, we asked if we could start with a prayer, they said yes. After I said the prayer the Mom stood up gave me a hug, then Sister McCulloch, then her son a hug. They just cried! I don't really know why, but I could tell they were having a hard time.  Sister McCulloch shared with them Ether 12:27 and wow :) The spirit was so strong! We asked if we could come back, they said yes. But then we asked if they would like Spanish speaking missionaries. They said that would be great! So we left them with a prayer. We stood in a Circle and prayed The mom Prayed in Spanish and it was so amazing! I have no Idea what she said, but after her son turned to us and said, "She said that she was grateful that you guys stopped by." Man what a blessing! And we almost walked passed their house! Then the mom said, "I will come to your church this Sunday!" So back to Thursday: We wanted to meet with the Mom and the Spanish Elders so that they wouldn't get freaked out or anything. But she wasn't home... :( oh well!

Friday: I was so tired!  We taught so many people in such a short time.. then we went out with Sister Wilbert and we got Santo's to commit to come to church SUNDAY!! and He said he would be baptized!!! Dang!

Saturday: I found out this morning that I was Training :) I thought for sure that Sister McCulloch would have gotten the call....But then I found out that I was leaving! Crazy!! any who Conference was great!

Sunday: I hate saying good bye..It sucks! I cry too much! SANTOS came to church! awe it felt so good!!! awe :) But then the rest of the night I just packed and said good bye! \

Well that is really it :) I look forward to meeting my new companion on Wednesday! and getting to know more people in Hemet! I love this new challenge, but I am also scared to death! But it will make me stronger!!

I love this work! and I hope that you all had a great week!

Love,
Sister Moore
