Anza here we come :) and CODY GOT BAPTIZED!!

Well now I am leaving for a new area! Who knew that I would be one and done in Valley Vista! I am going up into the Mountains and I have a truck :) it will be great. Some bear hunting might go on....and teaching the Hill Billies :) just kidding! I am really excited! It is so cold up there that we might get snow this week!  :D so excited! Also Cody got baptized!  and Linda got Confirmed! and really that is all that happened...

Also I am going to be an sister training leader, and I am finishing a sisters training :) Her name is Sister Rodriguez and she has been out for 7 weeks and is so great! She is so sweet :)  It was really hard to leave Valley Vista...and Linda....but all is well :) This week has been long, when I got transfer calls it seemed like forever!!! but now I am finally here and freaking out trying to get to Anza :) It will be great! something interesting that happened was I got to eat tuna that tasted like steak. It was really good :) and Sister Roberts is going to Corona!!! I am so excited for her! I love her and wish her the best! Awe! It will be so different,but so exciting! I love this work!

I hope you all had a great week! Because we sure had a crazy week!

Tuesday: my companions woke up and didn't feel good at all...so we got up and went to District Development Meeting and I am so glad we went. Because there we found out by our leaders that Linda could get baptized! :D She got interviewed later that night and she was so excited that she hugged one of the Elders. It was so funny!  Also while my companions were sleeping I went out with a return missionary. She served her mission in Australia. She has been home for about two weeks. It was so great! We were only out for maybe 30 mins, but it was so great! :D

Wednesday: another sick morning...so we planned and then we had a beautiful drive up to Riverside, and I stayed with other sisters for the evening while one of my companions went to the doctor. It was so much fun! I loved it! After that I sat and talked to Sister Mcchulloch and it was so good to talk with her! She is doing so great!

Thursday: Happy St. Patrick's day!  We were all wearing green, and we managed not to get a picture...sorry :/ however! We had a really interesting morning. We went to go teach Warren, and we had a member come with us. But Warren thought it was later...so we had to wait and come back in an hour....so our team up couldn't come...but  he did say that he would be baptized which is great! then we walked...and went on splits. I went and taught the Hoover family while Sister Garlitz and Roberts taught Linda....my lesson went well, but Linda wasn't there! By that point we couldn't get a hold of her, and so we were freaking out! but we kept going on! We went and had a lesson with Ted and he hurt his knee :( poor Ted! He was so excited to meet with us..but he didn't come to church.. :/ and then we ran to dinner with Bear :) Always interesting. We learned a lot about Bear and stuff! Also that night we went on exchanges. :) Sister Garlitz and I stayed, Sister Roberts went to Riverside!

Friday: All of our appointments cancelled..... but it's fine :) We drove and stopped by Linda's house three times until we finally got to see her! Awe we were so excited!! All is set for her baptism! We got to eat In and Out :) it was good .

Saturday: We really didn't get a lot done, We walked and talked in another Sister's area, and then I really don't know where the day went, then we taught Linda and she is so excited to be baptized! AWE :D

Sunday: Finally came :) After Church we went and taught William. then we came back for the baptism. It was so beautiful! I cried...don't judge...I really just don't know why God has blessed me so much by letting me teach Linda! I love her so much! She is so great! :D

and now today has been kinda relaxin, except for emailing..that time always goes by fast! I love you all and hope you love the picture over load! on and I tried to be nice to a horse...but it almost bit me.... :/

Really this week seems like just another week in California! :) But all good things, all good things. Happy Birthday TIM!!!

Tuesday: Was the funniest ZDM! They asked dumb pointless trivia questions, but they gave us candy so that was nice :) We were also able to teach Linda :) AWE I love her so much! Then while we were there...we got a call from President Mullen. Linda asked, "Is that a call from God?" We laughed and said, "Well kinda!" It was funny! We called him back after the Lesson, and come to find out he had a referral for us :) It was great! Then right before dinner we got a call from someone that we didn't know that said, "we would like for you sisters to come over tonight." So we said, "Uh yeah sure thing!" We inhaled dinner and went over to this persons house..come to find out it was a Part Member Family :) a cute little old couple, and when as we were talking the wife (who isn't a member) said, "I am not convertible!" As we were talking it really just sounded like they wanted someone to talk to...they are really cute though! 

Wednesday: Was the Longest and Best day of my week!  We woke up did studies, and then we got to go to the temple :) It was so beautiful! I loved it so much! We asked Sister Wuehler took us and I love her so much! After the temple we dropped off Sister Roberts in Riverside for a Doctors appointment. which meant that....we hit traffic...yeah...we didn't make it to our dinner appointment....but that's okay :) We went and tried a few people. We went to try one referral and found out that they were members. It was hilarious!  Then we had to drive ourselves back to Riverside to pick up Sister Roberts, and we didn't get home until 10...so we just went to bed, and planned during companion study :) 

Thursday: This is the Day that everyone loves to meet with us! We went and tried a man named Warren. We talked to him while we were walking, and he let us in! We taught him the Plan of Salvation, and he really liked it because his parents have passed on. :) He said we could come back next week! After Warren, We went and taught Rachel. She was so nice, and willing to listen to us. When we asked her to read the Book of Mormon she said that she couldn't.... :( that was kinda sad, but it was still nice to teach her and invite her. We can't take away agency! Then we came home and had lunch. and taught Linda again :) We taught her about prophets, and how to keep the Sabbath day holy. She is so excited about the Gospel! :D Then we hurried and went to dinner with a family that has 10 children! They are so great! Then we had to leave dinner a little early so that we could go and eat a second dinner with Bear :) Bear Met us at the Church and loves to feed us. He is really moving along and I pray that he continues to pray and read. He is so great! and his sandwiches are so good! I felt so bad that night....I just wanted to curl up and sleep.....But it was a great day! 

Friday: Oh Friday....was kind of a traditional day. We got up and taught Pam that is a returning Less Active member. We taught her the last lesson today, and I am really sad that we won't see her as often....she sent us home the a goody basket :) It was so awesome! Then....guess what :) It started to rain :) you know what that means! Tracting :) It was hilarious! I love jumping in Puddles! 

Saturday: This was the Golden day to talk to people! We were walking and talking to everyone we could, and we also asked the people we talked to if they knew anyone that needed the Light and hope of Jesus Christ? and so many people sent us to their neighbors house! It was so great! We walked for 3 hours and contacted a lot of people! We had a dinner appointment with a less active family and they are so funny! The mom told me about PHAT! and it means Pretty Hot And Tempting! I about died! It was so funny! She made a really good salad that was loaded with meat :) It was so beautiful! 

Sunday: Linda got sick...and couldn't come to church...so this means her Baptism will be pushed to Easter Weekend instead! :D Which will be great! I just hope she feels better soon! We love her so much! Also Bear wore his black kilt to church! It was so great! 

Monday: Today We went to this really great store :) it is called the Hope store. You go in and give them $40 and they give you a shopping cart full of food! We have so much food now that I really don't know if we will ever eat it all! We voted not to go shopping next week because we have so much food! 

This week has gone by so fast! I am so grateful that I am here serving the Lord in California! I love you all and hope you have a great week! :D

Googly eyes, puppies, chickens in trees, and a banana

Hey Ya'll! I love you so much and hope you had the best week ever! This week has been kinda weird, but hey what is mission life without a weird moment.

Monday: Monday night we ate dinner with a member who raises puppies :) They are so cute! :)

Tuesday: We had DDM and we also had a training by Elder Puskas our Car guy :) He is so great! It was fun! We also got to meet Elder Cook he is going to be replacing Elder Puskas. So crazy how time goes by so fast! Then we had had another training from the ASL elders. it is really funny seeing them because one of them thinks that I sign fluently.....which is a lie....but it's fun to talk with them :) then we got home and had lunch and one of my companions got sick....and so we didnt get a lot done...... :/

Wednesday: We had a blessed opportunity to go to Riverside for a doctors appointment :) We woke up at 5:30 and got ready :) I didn't leave the mission this time and I didn't use a GPS :) YEAH!!! While at Riverside I saw Sister Mcchulloch :) it was so great! I love her so much!! Then we went home....didn't really talk to a lot of people....but later that night the Elders came over to give one of my companions a blessing. As she was being blessed our front door opened on it's own....so weird.....it freaked us all out! So funny!!

Thursday: We had so many appointments, and we also went on splits! It was so great! I went with a recent convert named Sarah to a lesson with Aveley. Aveley is 13 and her brother and father just got baptized! She knows the church is true, but her mother is holding her back :( She is so sweet! We also started talking about hunting and shooting guns and stuff...:) it made me happy and they brought out guns for me to shoot....but I couldn't shoot them.....it was sad! But it was a good bonding moment. While I was there my other two sweet companions taught Linda. She is so ready! She is going to be baptized on March 20th and she is so excited! I love teaching her and I love that she loves us! AWE :D later that night we taught Bear :) I love that guy so much! He is so sweet! He is still working towards baptism. He is moving a long quite well :)

Friday: We planned....and after dinner :) I got my hair cut! It isn't shorter or anything but it is even!!!! I almost cried for joy because it was so bad...it has almost been a year since my last hair cut, I was in Corona with Sister Springer! Crazy how time goes by so fast!!

Saturday: We had a training on the Easter video that should be coming out soon. We were taught how to use it and so on....it was cool :) then we took our car in to get fixed, and while we waited we went to this cute little place called Polly's Pies, it was so good! We ate lunch and then I saw the banana sign :) it was cute! Then we went back at the car shop.....and we waited.....and waited.....and waited....and we were there for 5 hours! I was going crazy! But I only bought one pair of pants :) they are so comfy :) then after that 5 hours from you know where......we went out and tried a few people, and ended up getting in with a member and it took way too long, but we got to try vegan cheese....it's not real cheese.....it's just not the same.... Then we went home....

Sunday: Was so awesome!!! Bear was there and Aveley was there and so was Linda :) We introduced her to the bishop and she was so excited! She shared with the Relief Society about how the Lord sent us to her when she needed help and peace :) it was so sweet! We walked :) and then had dinner with the Jones. It was great! then it was time for a meeting and such.....so yeah

That is pretty much our week :) We found Googly eyes outside of our apartment and we also found a chicken hiding in a tree :) it was really funny! I love you all so much and I pray that all of you had a great week!
