Last week was one of the hardest weeks that I have ever had on my mission. We were short on time because of meetings, and We really didn't know anyone haha :) I guess that is why this week was the best week ever!
Tuesday: We went with a member to go contact her co-worker that was interested in the gospel. She was amazing! She committed to baptism and is reading the Book of Mormon! She kept asking her friend how she got so close with her husband and family. Then she told her about the Book of Mormon and how it brought them closer together through Jesus Christ! I can't wait to teach her even more! After that we had dinner and they sent us home with leftovers :) YUMM!!! But then we gave them to a homeless lady....thought she needed it more than us. We see her from time to time :) and her cute dog!
Wednesday: We had 3 lessons set up with potential investigators.....but all of them stood us up! On our way back to our bikes we heard a pop....and a gush of air came blowing out! Sister Pielstick's tire popped.....and it was because I put it in wrong...lame!!! But now I know how to do it :) So a member helped us get it in their truck and then we have been on foot ever sense! 9 months ago I left the MTC :D Wow how time has flown by! We did Tim Tam Slams :) it was great! We also taught Cody. He is a great kid! His uncle called us and told us that we need to start teaching him. So we did haha :)
Thursday: We Planned...and taught Noah! He is 8 years old and wants to be Baptized! Neither of his parents are members, so he is a convert baptism! We asked him to be baptized on Halloween, but he was worried it would be too soon! We will work with him and I pray that he will feel ready by then! How cool would that be! to get baptized on Halloween! SO COOL!!! We had something interesting for dinner....it was good I just would have never imagined this combination! Rice, with a hamburger patty, then a fried egg (with the yoke still runny, I call it a pocket full of sunshine) and gravy over the top of it! It was actually really good :) haha then the member came out with us and no one was home....oh well :D keep on keepin' on!
Friday; We had Multi-Zone today! awe it felt so good! We sat and got scolded/trained on how to talk with everyone we see! These last two weeks we haven't had any baptisms in our whole mission.....this is bad...really bad....this week we got 7 which is good :) so we learned a lot! after the meeting we went to dinner :) After we ate we asked if we could share a message with their family. The mom asked what the message was about. We planned on faith. She then picked up her phone and called her non-member neighbor and had her come over for the lesson! The family gave her a Book of Mormon and we invited her to learn more, and she said that she wanted too! She is the best! She also came to church on Sunday and loved it! AWE :D
Saturday: Was a very interesting day...we talked with everyone! literally everyone!! It was so crazy! There was this one lady, she was sitting on the grass and she had all of her stuff sprawled out. She had some cute heels (we know how much I love those!) and so I said, " I really like those heel!" She then responds, "They aren't real!" really confused I said, "Oh I just said that I liked your shoes." She then goes off! "These things right here aren't real. Nothing is real. None of this even matters. Do you have a phone? Could you call my boyfriend? He didn't answer did he. I don't even care......." She kept going! It was crazy! We just walked away and yeah...haha the fun things that happen on a mission!
Sunday: What a beautiful day! We had Three investigators at church and awe :) I had to talk though....apparently I talk really soft....so many people didn't hear me...oops....oh well! We also got to do sharing time in Primary! It was so fun :D haha The Bishop's wife came out with us after dinner and she stayed with us for 4 hours! We felt so bad! We told her that she would drop us off for the last appointment, but she wanted to come :) What a sweet lady! I love her! She is just the best!
Monday: Today has been pretty relaxed! I so needed it haha :) Can't wait to see what adventures come our way next week!
Love you all and hope you had a great week! Can't wait to hear from everyone!

MT View!! San Jacinto! I love it!! :D
This week has been one of the hardest of my mission! Not only did I get a new companion fresh from the MTC, but I also am in a new area where Elders used to serve....and.....yeah enough said....We just have a lot of work to do! I pray and I know that this area is going to grow and flourish! AWE I love the people!!
Tuesday: I was with Sister Meza in my area all day! We walked a little bit then we went and picked up all of the paper work for my area! which wasn't a lot....I started to feel overwhelmed and not sure if I could rebuild this area and train a new missionary....But then something changed. The other Sister must have sensed this(or saw it on my face) because they all told me that I will do great and that I will change this area! It just felt nice :D Then we also ate Sushi for lunch :) it was amazing!
Wednesday: Was the day....she finally came :D Sister Pielstick (like you are peeling a stick) she is from St. Augustine Florida and loves the city. My first City girl companion! :D We drove home, and I followed Elders because they said they knew how to get home.....yeah......We got home dropped off her stuff then we went and road our bikes to our dinner appointment! and because it gets dark at 7...we had to go home...:( and Sister Pielstick got a flat.... but we will fix that today :D
Thursday: We went and walked in our area and found some new people to teach! We are so excited! We have so many people ready to hear our message!
Friday: We really walked all day....and we had lunch with all the missionaries for a big meeting! it was fun :D We ran into a guy smoking weed and he said, "oh no you dont want to talk to me!" But we did :) We didn't get a return appointment, but it was still a great experience! We also met a girl from Africa!! WHAT!! She was cool, she likes her religion, but we gave her a Book of Mormon and she said that she would read it :D
Saturday: Saturday no one was out....we organized our white bored...yeah...Saturday was rough....The Relief Society had us over for breakfast though! It was so fun! They told us a lot of information about members in the ward! SO HELPFUL! I love the people here!!!
Sunday: We went to church at 8 for a meeting. Then another meeting at 9 then Church at 11 to 2! We were walking into the building and....Sister Gass runs out, I gasp, and she gives me the biggest hug! I just lost it and started crying! ( she is in the first ward that I served in...oh how I missed her! She signed up to feed us next week...two days in a row...haha) and that's how it was all day!! I saw so many people that I knew and I hugged and cried! I really was just a mess....I saw our old home share Sister Peel too I really just started bawling! I can't believe I am back here! I am just so happy!
I am so happy to be here again! My heart can't express how much I love San Jacinto! AWE :D Seriously!! I love these people!! and I can't wait to start teaching and baptizing in this area!!
Oh and we also got to meet Olaf, Elsa, Anna, and Christoph (this is our Ward Mission Leader's Daughter's family :) they were going to Disneyland for Halloween and wanted to show us their costumes! So fun! The Grandma made parts of the costumes! So awesome!
Love,
Sister Moore

I AM TRANSFERRED!!!
I am getting Transferred to Hemet again :D I am so excited! It will be a different ward, but really close to my first area! I will also be training again! A new missionary from the MTC! I don't know the area....so I will be learning right a long side her! It will be interesting and I am grateful for your prayers! I will miss Corona...so much! I won't tell you home much I have cried....but I know that it will be for the best! I look forward to coming back and visiting all of these people! They are a part of my heart and I will never let them out!
Tuesday: Last District Meeting in Corona. An elder was also going home so we sang "God be with you tell me meet again" He almost cried! any who we went and and saw a few less actives.....crazy story so one of our less actives is in the hospital....he might lose his foot! Crazy right! any who after we visited him we were able to go to another family. As we were walking outside we ran into a new potential investigator! Then we went to dinner with the Jacob's family :) I love them! Their son had a few none member friends there so we were able to challenge them to read the Book of Mormon! We went to a Part-Member family and we were able to teach the husband who is a non-member! He has a lot of questions and I can't wait to see them get baptized!
Wednesday: We were able to teach a new investigator on the street next to his house. It went well then we found out that Zoey (she is a young woman that isn't a member, but her dad is, and her mom doesn't want her to get baptized!) Crazy story...We will pray for her!
Thursday: We planned...and planned again....haha then we went out..and taught...then we had dinner with the Avalos family! then we walked to an appointment with the Spanish Elders. Last Monday we contacted and taught a Spanish woman. Monday:We were walking to Sister Young's house after dinner then we saw these two people sitting outside! It was probably the worst contact I have ever made! We walked passed and I said, "The weather is lovely isn't it!?" the guy said, "Yes it is very nice." I stopped and asked, "Do you come out and sit here often?" (See I told you it was bad) Then we asked if we could share a message about Christ, and he said yes! His mom went and turned on a light asked us if we wanted a Beer (hehe ;) then we sat down. The man asked if we could speak Spanish, but we can't...so we just shared with them how much God loves them, we asked if we could start with a prayer, they said yes. After I said the prayer the Mom stood up gave me a hug, then Sister McCulloch, then her son a hug. They just cried! I don't really know why, but I could tell they were having a hard time. Sister McCulloch shared with them Ether 12:27 and wow :) The spirit was so strong! We asked if we could come back, they said yes. But then we asked if they would like Spanish speaking missionaries. They said that would be great! So we left them with a prayer. We stood in a Circle and prayed The mom Prayed in Spanish and it was so amazing! I have no Idea what she said, but after her son turned to us and said, "She said that she was grateful that you guys stopped by." Man what a blessing! And we almost walked passed their house! Then the mom said, "I will come to your church this Sunday!" So back to Thursday: We wanted to meet with the Mom and the Spanish Elders so that they wouldn't get freaked out or anything. But she wasn't home... :( oh well!
Friday: I was so tired! We taught so many people in such a short time.. then we went out with Sister Wilbert and we got Santo's to commit to come to church SUNDAY!! and He said he would be baptized!!! Dang!
Saturday: I found out this morning that I was Training :) I thought for sure that Sister McCulloch would have gotten the call....But then I found out that I was leaving! Crazy!! any who Conference was great!
Sunday: I hate saying good bye..It sucks! I cry too much! SANTOS came to church! awe it felt so good!!! awe :) But then the rest of the night I just packed and said good bye! \
Well that is really it :) I look forward to meeting my new companion on Wednesday! and getting to know more people in Hemet! I love this new challenge, but I am also scared to death! But it will make me stronger!!
I love this work! and I hope that you all had a great week!

RUSH!!!
Tuesday: We taught Vicky, I love her and she has now told us her life story! Which is a crazy one! Besides that all of our appointments fell through, so we walked....and walked...we walked right into Betty a former investigator! We helped her carry her shopping bags in and such.... she gave us soup which tasted good :) such a nice lady! Then we had a Book of Mormon class! It was so great!
Wednesday: WE went on exchanges and Sister Bjork came with me to Corona :) IT was also old people day which was great! We were able to help Sister Sartain with making her bed. She also told me that she was going to give me her Christmas village! How awesome is that! A few weeks ago we were talking about them, and I told her how much I love my village. So She was going to give her village to me! :D But her grandson had them....and they love them...but its the thought that counts! We taught Bro Lorenzen also and he told us that he would come to Church!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once football season was over.....so in Feb....better then nothing! Before he didn't even want to come! Then we walked....and talked to spanish people.....
Thursday: We had planning....but we didn't even get to finish because we went out to contact some referrals, but no luck...we went back and planned....then went out with Sister Wilbert! I love that girl! She is so great! then we had dinner with the Kelley family! They are the best! Their daughter got baptized on Saturday and it was awesome! This family has done so much missionary work! They invited some of the daughters friends from school to the baptism (They are not members). any who that is on saturday! But we walked down the rest of the night.
Friday: We finished plannning(sometimes I swear that all we do is plan, to make more plans, and then to change those plans...but hey it works for missionary work!) and then we went and saw the O'flynn family! They are the best! Then we walked to dinner...had Thai food (I most likely spent that wrong) It was good! Then they tool us to frozen yogurt....it was amazing...but Frozen was playing on their TV.....I put my back to the TV....but then I could see the reflection......I tried so hard!!! any who.....WE had a lesson with troy and it was awesome! Good kid!
Saturday: We went to exercise and we ran into Arisha! We are kinda teaching her now, but yeah :) so she tried to work out with us it was fun! We told her that we would be back at the park at 3 to meet with her. Then we went home, got ready went to the stake baptism and studied....then took off! Then after the baptism we went to a lunch. Our Bishop dropped us off to a birthday party (it was for a less active part member family's son that turned one) But it was at the wrong park (it was our fault not his) So we walked! We got there just in time to eat, and then Sister Wilbert met us there and we were off to teach Sanots! our High Priest Group Leader Brother Berhens came with us! He told me he would teach me how to surf when I come back and visit! SWEET! But Santos wasn't home...DANG!!! Then we went back home, finished studies and then taught Arisha with her friend Aurther and troy. It went well, but we ran out of time because we had Woman's Conference at 4! So after the lesson we ran back home for our ride to pick us up! AND THEN!!!! (GASP FOR AIR!) We got to the stake center, ate dinner and had a member take a picture of us to send to our families. The picture was of the O'Flynn Girls :) it was great! then we got to sit down and watch Conference....so busy! But so Great! awe So many answers! I just love this work! I know that Heavenly Father Answers our prayers!
Monday: We woke up, got ready. Went Hiking! It was the best thing ever! We hiked where a river used to be! We thought we would be able to see the ocean....but not! We came back home all muddy and great! Then we got read started to email...then our apartment people kicked us off the computers because some kids had to do homework.....so then we ran down to the family history center! haha yeah....and we have dinner in 20 minutes.....kinda a crazy day!
LOVE YOU!!!

ELMINIO (in spanish it means child, but english it means rain!)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA MOORE :D
Man this week has been so crazy and exhausting!!! But I know that Heavenly Father has helped lead and guide me through this week. Thank you so much for your prayers! I love each and everyone of you!
Tuesday: We woke up and started getting ready to go outside and exercise! yes I do run...do sit ups...and dips... and yes I almost die every morning....but not this morning :) It was pouring rain!! :D It was coming down so hard it was almost a Utah Storm! haha :) we watched the rain as we "exercised" inside and then did our studying. At that time :) It was time to go to the temple! awe yes! We went to the temple :) A lovely member drove us in the crazy weather (don't worry she grew up in Ogden Utah so she knew how to drive in the rain) We ate lunch, went to the temple and when we came out the rain was gone so we got to take pictures of Sister Mcculloch, Sister Burris, Sister Vorkink, and I :) Awe it was awesome! Then we had dinner with a family that is starting to come back to church! They are making it a goal to go get sealed in the temple :) Over all it was like the best day ever! We went to a Book of Mormon Class that the Elders put together. We hope to bring some of our Investigators next time to the class!
Wednesday: Today we had DDM. We talked about how important it is to invite people to be baptized on the first lesson! Crazy right?!?! But I know that as I invite people to be baptized that they will feel the spirit and know that this is the path their Heavenly Father wants them to take! After DDM We went off to old people day with Eliza :) It went great! i love those cute old people! We went to see sister Young and guess what we saw :) A possum! Sister Mcculloch prayed to see one on her mission and she did!! it was in Sister Young's Garbage can haha...it ended up dying two days later....but hey we got to see it alive! Then a Potential Investigator went to young women's and loved it! She is even coming to church! She is from a part member family, and is nervous to ask her parents for permission to take the missionary discussions because her mom is not a member, and has no desire to be a part of the church. But the daughter loves coming and knows that this church is true!
Thursday: Planning...then we went out with Shelly and taught Santos...he was busy, but he want to visit with us so he worked on a steamer while we talked...don't ever do that...the Spirit isn't there and he started talking about random things! We did talk about how his Heavenly Father loved him, how He gave us families, and Prophets. Then he asked if we believed in aliens...REALLY!?!?! We left him a Restoration Pamphlet to read and we pray that he will read it!
Friday: zzzzz......zzzzzzz.....so tired.....we woke up at 5 to go get our phone because we left it at the Smith Higgins house the night before...we had a meeting at 7:30...so we thought....but it was at 8:30...We got Tiwi's in the cars (it is a computer thing that tells you to drive safer) We didnt get Tiwi's on our bikes! haha but we did have to go to the conference! It was so powerful! We talked about the Elminio that is coming :) That means that it will rain on and off 2-3 days out of the week from December to February! :D I can't wait! We talked about what we can do to make the Sabbath a Delight for our investigators! Then we got back home around 5:30 and went to dinner with Sister Young and had a lesson with Troy and Arisha. then went home and slept!!!
Saturday: We woke up so exhausted! We cleaned the church, went to studies and then Sister Williams went out with us! We tried 4 potential investigators and no luck! We went to this one house and some kids were running around. They stopped and talked to us and the little boy (8-10 years old) asks me, "Are you Cinderella?" I didn't realize what he said until a few minutes after haha but it was so cute and it made me feel good! Then we went to go see if we could help with an Eagle Scout Project, but when we got there they were done and starting to eat lunch...so we ate lunch haha :) and walked down the mountain visited a few less actives. Took a bathroom brake at Sister Sartains...as we were visiting with her we almost fell asleep! We were so tired!! But we walked back down the mountain taught Troy at the Park and walked home to meet our dinner appointment. We had In n out for dinner it was fun:) Sister Child is great!! Had a few lessons after dinner, but ended up going home a few minutes early and falling asleep early....it felt nice!
Sunday: We woke up early because we had a meeting at 7. Sister Mcculloch didn't remember about the meeting so as she was getting ready she looked at the clock and saw that it said 6:30! She was a little upset until I told her that we had a meeting at 7 haha :) it was funny! In the meeting we talked about how each of us have a park in helping the missionary work grow! I realized during this meeting that the only reason the church does activities is to have members bring their non-member friends come and feel the spirit! it's cool! :D Then we walked and walked after church....I am just exhausted!!
Wow It looks like a lot happened this week! A lot of spiritual strength and faith building! I know that My Savior lives and loves me and the people here in Corona :) I love hearing from you all! Hope you have a great week!!
OH and I almost forgot! a few weeks ago I held a lizard and a star fish!
Love,
Sister Moore

I realized during this meeting that the only reason the church does activities is to have members bring their non-member friends come and feel the spirit! it's cool! :D Then we walked and walked after church....I am just exhausted!!
Wow It looks like a lot happened this week! A lot of spiritual strength and faith building! I know that My Savior lives and loves me and the people here in Corona :) I love hearing from you all! Hope you have a great week!!
OH and I almost forgot! a few weeks ago I held a lizard and a star fish!

5,4,3,2,1 BANG!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYSON AND RODNEY!!!!
This week has gone by so slow! The days have been so busy, yet hardly anything happened!
Tuesday: We had Zone Development Meeting. It started at 10:30 and went tell 1:15...then Elder Puskus (car coordinator) came and did a training on car stuff....so we got home at 2:30! ate lunch then went to a members house which was all the way up the hill! at 3:30! It was so hot! then down to Bishop's house where we got ice cream and water :) Then we taught a less active family which went well! We taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ like stepping stones ( I feel like I did that talk at one of my nephew's Baptism. We ate dinner then went to the Book Of Mormon class! No one came so we ran down to a members house, then to the family history center!
Wednesday: We had old People day!! But it rained!!! haha we were just finishing visiting the older people and it started to poor!! We were on foot so a member came and picked us up, but when we got home it was done raining....apparently it was left over rain from a tsunami in Mexico or something.....but we went back out! We went and tried a potential Investigator, but she was sick!
Thursday: Planning again :D We went and tried to teach Arisha, but found the whole Smith/Higgins family home! weird! so we taught them and then went back home to plan :) We also went out with a member who bought us frozen lemonade :) it was good! then we had dinner and did some service for the girls in Africa! It was amazing! then we went back to the Smith/Higgins family :D
Friday: 9/11- (D&C pg 119, vs 9-11...then look at the day that Joseph Smith wrote the Revelation) Also it was exactly one year today that I received my call!! crazy how time flies! We taught the Plan of Salvation to the Smith/Higgins. then then Sister Wilbert went out with us and we were able to go teach Santos! We talked about the Plan of Salvation and it went well! Next we will talk about Joseph Smith and how the Priesthood is restored :D After dinner with the Chase family Sister Mcculloch had a great idea to start a mission cook book! We are going to start asking member to print out a copy of their recipes, so that when we go home we will have a big book of mission food :D Can't wait to start!!
Saturday: We did service for a group called Inter faith project. We were at the Corona Heritage park and we got to paint a barn :) It reminded me of the Saturday of Conference when we were painting at Grandpa Moore's and the Prophet changed the age for missionaries! We went and saw Sister Romero :) We got to meet her sister from Provo Utah! then we walked to Martina's and then ran to dinner!
Sunday: So during Studies I prayed to Heavenly Father to guide my studies. I found a talk by President Ezra Taft Benson on Pride. I loved it! I recommend it to everyone!! Then in Church we talked about that same thing in Relief Society! Then we walked all around :) It was good! We got lost a little....but in the end we found our way back home :)
Today: We tie dyed Shirts :) and played volley ball! It was awesome! Sorry about last Monday...I got a sunburn and it totally drained me! I was so tired! But I know that the Lord blesses us for our hard work! Tuesday we get to go to the temple! and then we have a meeting on Friday, so we will hardly have time next week to teach! haha but I can't wait! Love you all!!!

Success!!!
Tuesday: Okay so we have been walking so much that I got my first blister!!! I am almost 9 months in and I got my first blister! What is that all about?!? haha We taught the Brown family. We have been teaching their family every Tuesday because their son is turning eight soon, and we needed the practice. We taught the ten commandments and it went really well!
Wednesday: So this was pretty much amazing! We sent a text to Zoey (her dad is a member, she is 12 and not a member. but her dad doesn't want to go back to church) telling her that the Young Women were playing volley ball and that she should go! She CAME!! WHAT!! and her dad stayed the whole time! He still isn't ready to come back, but he said that if she wanted to come that he would support her!
Thursday: It kinda hit me today that I am almost nine months in....like half way there....what!! We planned...and planned some more.....like a lot of planning......then we went to dinner which went way too long! :( But on the plus side I now know how to make a rose out of paper :) and a picture box!
Friday: I got a Back to School Package from my sister Andrea :) I loved it! We walked from 11-4:30 and no English speaking people in sight! I really need to start studying Spanish because this is so dumb! We taught Troy Friday night as well and man he is really seeing the Lord bless his life!
Saturday: We went and tried some Former Investigators with Sister Jackman! Which what brings me to Success!!! We picked up two new investigators named Santos and David! Santos doesn't understand his purpose and just wants to be with his family again in the spirit world! :( We are so excited to teach him.
Sunday: We were walking and some random guy stops us in the street! We talk to him about how he wants to please God. We shared the Because He lives video. and we plan on teaching him again on Friday.
Well I hope that you all have a great week! We played baseball today :D So fun! Love you all! Sorry there wasn't much to this email.. :/
Love,
Sister Moore
